Prehnite - New Jersey
A fantastic specimen from Lower New Street in Paterson, New Jersey. This classic US locality has produced some of the highest quality prehnite in the world and this piece is no exception. Found by Dustin Page around 2012 in the “Historical Pocket”, it features great color & form, with multiple prehnite epimorphs after anhydrite in the famous finger shape. But what makes this piece stand-out is its incredible luster. A wonderful example of a classic New Jersey locality, this specimen would display well in any collection: museum or personal.
